Rock of Salvation
Without a solid foundation, things start to fall apart.
Jesus is the rock of our salvation. He is our solid foundation.
If you build anything on Jesus: a friendship, a marriage, a business, even a workout plan, it will remain solid.
Starting with Jesus is a bet you can count on. It may not be easy, it may not work out the way you thought it would, but Jesus will never disappoint you. He can’t; it’s not His character.
“On Christ the solid rock I stand; all other ground is sinking sand.”
Remember this as you start to feel life get shaky or unstable.
Stand on the rock of your salvation.
Psalm 18:2 The Lord is my solid rock,
my fortress, my rescuer.
My God is my rock—
I take refuge in him!—
he’s my shield,
my salvation’s strength,
my place of safety.
