When Hard Perseverance Pays Off

Today I was doing some research into how our podcast are going as the year comes to an end, I don’t do it very often because I like to focus on serving people and giving value over the numbers but I thought I would jump on and have a look. We’ve had over 300,000 downloads!

I couldn’t believe it when I looked. So before we get into the podcast today I just want to spend some time and thank you all who listen! You mean the world to me and I am so very grateful for your support and loyalty to our show.

It takes ALOT of hard work and time behind the scenes to put a podcast together, we have been going for nearly four years now and that’s a lot of time of me talking to myself in a room with a microphone.

I have to say, it’s still a very weird thing to talk to yourself into a microphone, compared to an audience where you can see peoples expressions and really interact with them.

I really do hope that our podcast inspires you in your business journey and you hear God’s sweet voice and promptings talking to your or that He drops those golden nuggets for you as you listen.

I don’t normally do this either but I would love it, if you could please go onto iTunes or whichever software you listen to this podcast through and give us a review and share it with your friends. All the reviews really do help me keep going with the show and let me know that our listeners are really humans and not just a download number on my screen.

I have to be honest. There have been times when I have wanted to give up the podcast, but I’ve had amazing people around me who have encouraged me to keep going and God always ends up putting something in my heart to talk about. But I can’t say it’s been easy to be consistent and keep going week after week.

How blessed am I to have this podcast one might think. But it’s in the hard work and perseverance when we really get tested. Do we have what it takes to keep going, to keep trusting in God, especially when we don’t get instant gratification in what we’re working towards?

You might be at a point of wanting to give up something in your business too. I hope that my persistence with this podcast will give you encouragement to don’t give up on the things you’ve been struggling with.

We’re all human, we all have days where we really don’t want to do things in our businesses, but I want to be that person for you today, that prays for God’s strength to come to you now and a refreshing over your soul with a fresh perspective and fresh encouragement. May God’s freedom in business give you strength, creativity, and grit with grace.

You’ve got this lady, and I and God are so proud of you!

Most of us in Australia will be taking time off now for the summer holidays, so all the ladies out there whose taking that time off I pray that the Holy Spirit heal you from a challenging year, that you create beautiful memories with your loved ones and for those who find Christmas time hard, that instead God will bring His amazing peace to your heart.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your time spent listening to our episodes, I want to thank Chris & Lou from Mathieson Media and The Administration Agency for helping to edit the podcasts and for making us sound good (if you’re after an awesome podcast editor Chris is your guys) and enjoy the time you have off and really rest in God’s grace knowing He has you and your business while you take time off.

From all of us at CWIB, Merry Christmas and have the best summer holiday ever!

Founder Sarah-Jane Meeson was given a word to inspire women. Since then, Sarah-Jane dreamed about how she could inspire women and unite them together. She knew it was going to be for God and she knew she had a passion for business and just to see people thrive and be all that they can be: no matter what past they’ve had, no matter how much money or where they come from. It’s about them being the best person they can be for God and to help share their story of how God has worked through their life and business.

After chatting with a girlfriend and sitting on the idea for a while, God kept prompting her heart to bring this movement of women together. After some time, Sarah-Jane knew what she needed to do; she bit the bullet and now here it is. Christian Women in Business – a movement of Christian women pushing forward for God in their businesses … and it’s great!
