Tackling the Storms in Business

“7 For we live by faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7

Have you ever been flying on a cloudy day? You know that you have to go through the storm clouds to get to the sunshine, but when you are in the midst of the cloud, surrounded by white and the turbulence is knocking you around, you end up gripping the arms of the seat. Then you take a deep breath and put your faith in the pilot’s skill at being able to take you safely through the storm.

This is the same when you are going through trials & tragedy in life or even navigating through a different season in business. You are worn down and you can’t see how it is ever going to get better. You can no longer see behind you, and you definitely can’t even envision what is in ahead of you.

All you can feel is the turbulence and all you can see is the middle of the storm. You might feel claustrophobic, like there is no hope, but that is not the case.

Allow God to be your pilot.

Let Him shelter your heart from the storm and have faith that He will take you through it to the sunshine. Fasten your seat belt and be ready for the ride.

Father God, as we travel through our week this week, I pray that you will help us all to rely on you, in all we do. Whether we are travelling well, or finding life difficult, I pray that we will dig in to your word and find our comfort in knowing that you have control. I pray that you would bless all those who we are dealing with in business and in life. Let your love be shown through our actions. Be our strength. Thank you Father, for always being there. For giving us sight, even when we feel blind. In Jesus precious name, Amen
