Tell Us A Little Bit About Your Organisation or Business...

Christian Supplies is retail and ecommerce store that sells over 10,000 products that help individuals, Churches, Schools and other Christian organisations live out their Christian faith.  We sell everything from books, Bibles, Baptism & Wedding gifts, Communion & Confirmation gifts, Church candles, Altar Breads & Communion Wine, cards, medals, jewelry, statues, Christmas & Easter gifts and nativity sets.

We also have our own range of imported, hand-made Christian goods from various disadvantaged countries throughout the world called Devtrade.  This range consists of olive-wood products made by Palestinian Christians in Bethlehem, brightly painted wood crosses from El Salvador, Nativity products from Peru, crocheted lace crosses from India,  and hand-painted Indigenous crosses from our friends in the Northern Territory.

Her Story

Share With Us Your Story of How You Got Into Leadership

We purchased our business, Christian Supplies, in 2007 and that automatically got me into leadership.  One of my other business partners managed the business until 2014 and I took over full-time leadership from then on.

If you could give a bit of advice to your younger Leader and/or Business Owner what would it be?

Always do you due diligence and research, but allow space for the gut as well.

What Are You Three Favourite Things About Being A Business Owner...

My three favourite things about being a business owner are:

  3. Being able to influence my community for God.
What's your "Go To" Leadership Bible Verse & Why?

Philippians 2:3-4

“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”

This verse reminds me that leadership involves looking after others, not lording it over others.

What's Your "Go To" Business Bibles Verse & Why?

Luke 12:48

Everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

This verse reminds me that it is a privilege to own a business, that God has given me much and therefore he demands that I use it wisely and not squander the opportunities.
