Contrarian Obedience

The word “Contrarian” always comes to mind when I think of the Kingdom and identity of WHO we are in God.

What we think with our carnal minds along what the world pushes have always been contradictory to how Jesus did things when He came in “man” form and a lot of the time how the Word speaks about the life we have in freedom in Christ.

John 7:53 – The question has always been, what did Jesus write in the sand?

I believe, all the names of the people who thought they were more, better, or free of sin, that they had to protest and push and fight for “religion” towards the poor lady who thought she was less then, and they de-graded her even further…

Jesus put them in their place and not one of them had a comeback, in fact they had all left!

#micdrop

That’s why I believe, Jesus wrote the names of them in the sand.

Not one was left who was “sinless”. They were just “as bad” as the lady.

And, in the season where everyone is telling us to shout out and stand up, I in fact, have gone in, gotten quieter, said “not now” to things.

Staying in the obedience. Quieting to soul to the gentle whisper of the Spirit.

I know for me, being in the incubation period God has put me has felt very contradictory and contrarian to how man thinks we “should” do things in this moment.

I’ve had so many prophecies and dots connected that at this time, following the Holy Ghosts guidance, I am on the right track but, in that, “incubation” is the harder obedience then following the crowd, or wanting to speak out, especially when human rights, God’s free will to make decisions is one of my biggest values.

Let me tell you. It hasn’t been easy!

I have at times, let the fear and anxiety in and it was overwhelming.

I had a good chat with a friend in QLD the other day about what’s going on here in NSW, and that I don’t feel like a good leader because I am not speaking out.

The first thing she said back to me was basically a slap on the face with a wet codfish lol. “How dare I step out of the obedience and season that God has me in.”

Wow, that was the wakeup call that I needed!

She gave me permission to keep on going even deeper into the Word and with God. She reminded me God before man and to stop comparing myself.

(I want to give you that same permission! Follow God, keep in His grace, and that’s totally ok if it’s different to what everyone else is doing).

Then she shared with me another prophecy about Australia, and I knew straight away, I didn’t have to be like the “other leaders”, to keep in the faith zone and keep staying in the incubation.

I fear God a hundred times more than man! I keep choosing to follow His promptings and be a contrarian, even to my own brothers and sisters in Christ…

With all that being said…

Usually, I would have had conference sorted by now, (I usually have the following year sorted before we’ve completed the conference coming, lol), but this time just hasn’t felt like it had in the past.

However, the other day, I felt the “go ahead” to open tickets up and I pulled the trigger.

So, in this incubation period of fasting, prayer, meditation, study, praise and getting deep in the Word, we step into the faith zone with zeal, fire, and steadfast of holding another conference in the midst of the worlds madness.

Only this time, doing it in a completely different personal season from the past, even the conference this year (2021).

God only knows what’s ahead in the future on earth, but for now, I choose to stay in the Kingdom, keeping my eyes on Jesus Christ, reading out His Words over the earth, and being steadfast in this season.

Knowing I am being a good leader because I am putting God first.

I look forward to His love anointing that’s going to be poured out to the women at our conference in Feb 2022 and I know He has something special for you too.

So again, here is your permission to let go to worldly expectations, even if you feel it’s different or against the current.

Being in obedience with God, is far more important to what everyone else is doing.

So here is your invitation from the incubation < That rhymed haha!

You’re welcome to come and join us for the Annual CWIBL Conference on the 26th & 27th Feb 2022 at Surfair, David Low Way, Marcoola, Sun Shine Coast, QLD.

Our theme for this year is “Identity” – Can’t wait for God to blow our minds with this one.

This year will be a little different to the rest, no camp food ;-P, we’re in a big “grown up” centre.

There is accommodation on site, but we won’t be offering it through the tickets. *We breath a sigh of relief****

THESE EXTRA EARLY BIRD PRICES END 28TH SEPT AND WE HAVE PAYMENT PLANS AVAILABLE TO MAKE LIFE EASIER.

There are limited spots available, even though we’re in a bigger, grown-up conference building.

Founder Sarah-Jane Meeson was given a word to inspire women. Since then, Sarah-Jane dreamed about how she could inspire women and unite them together. She knew it was going to be for God and she knew she had a passion for business and just to see people thrive and be all that they can be: no matter what past they’ve had, no matter how much money or where they come from. It’s about them being the best person they can be for God and to help share their story of how God has worked through their life and business.

After chatting with a girlfriend and sitting on the idea for a while, God kept prompting her heart to bring this movement of women together. After some time, Sarah-Jane knew what she needed to do; she bit the bullet and now here it is. Christian Women in Business – a movement of Christian women pushing forward for God in their businesses … and it’s great!
