#43 – BUILDING SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY IN YOUR BUSINESS

BUILDING SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY IN YOUR BUSINESS

We’re keeping with the theme of authority in your business from our last podcast… And want to give you some simple powerful tools for 2018 that will keep your head above water and authority over your business in 2018 so you can keep a sound mind and keep hold of your land.

Before we get into the Word, we want to let you know that we’ve now completed our first intakes for the year! It was a huge success, thank You Jesus, and we look forward to encouraging and strengthening our new and current members throughout 2018.

Our conference is just over 5 weeks away and we’re getting pumped up for it.  Uniting women together in one room for our first birthday, what a treat and a blessing.

How to build spiritual authority in your business:

Point 1 – Listen to God.

Exodus 23:22

22 If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.

How do we listen to God? We spend time with Him, going through His word.  You can’t afford not to listen to God, so don’t come up with excuses. God gives us enough time in the week if we’re smart with it.  Choose to put that time aside and listen to what God’s telling you.

A big lesson I personally learnt was at the end of 2017; we where moving houses, stressed, I wasn’t really paying attention to God, starting a blog of my own and doing all these extra things I thought I needed to do.

God pulled me aside one day as I was complaining and said, I’ve given you enough time to do everything I need you to do.  You’re making up the rest! If you didn’t do the rest of that stuff you’d have time for hubby and your health and fitness.

At that moment the penny dropped. I had taken on all these extra unnecessary things that God hadn’t asked me to do because I wasn’t inline with Him, listening to Him and spending time with Him.  I was busy being busy and distracted!

After hearing that, I pulled myself back in.  Got rid of all the stuff that God wasn’t telling me to do and focused on what He had told me to do.  That resulted in more time with God, getting out and enjoying exercise and dedicating time to hubster.

Listen to God, only do what He’s asking you to do. Things won’t grow if they’re not God’s will.  Don’t waste your time on stuff that’s not working.

Then you’ll have the time to spend with God and He can fill you with enough time to spare.

Point 2 — Remember Jesus has already won!

John 16:33

33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Remind yourself of that.

We’ve already won, so when things creep up that don’t seem right or you’re not sure where they’re coming from and you’ve got something big coming up in your business, remind the devil that Jesus has already won!

Point 3 — Remember who gave you your business.

Leviticus 26:6

6 “‘I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid. I will remove wild beasts from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country.

God will stand with you, He gives us peace that the enemy cannot take away.

Stand firm in the land of your business and speak this verse into it.  God’s promises are bigger than the devil.

Point 4 — Don’t gloat when you’re enemies fall.

Proverbs 24:17

17Do not gloat when your enemy falls;
when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice,”

We all have competition in the market place and as a Kingdom business it’s our job to show Jesus through it.  When you see your competitor fall don’t gloat, this gives the enemy an open door to come in and start corrupting your way of thinking.

Keep your heart, mind and business to be Kingdom focused and instead, pray blessings over your enemies and lift them up to Jesus.

This doesn’t give the devil a foothold to stand on!

Use these powerful tools in your business over 2018 and watch what God does.   Be ready to be blown away by God’s power.

Be blessed,  stay cool!
